OPUS POCKET ORCHESTRA AT THE LIBRARY

OPUS POCKET ORCHESTRA LIBRARY TOUR 2025

Opus Pocket Orchestra was pleased to again bring live music into the heart of the community in 2025, with a special focus on little listeners. The free 30-minute concerts were presented from September and November in libraries in Hamilton, Rotorua and Tauranga and were designed especially for tamariki aged 2–6 and their whānau, offering a joyful, interactive introduction to orchestral music.

Each performance blended storytelling, movement, and song, with plenty of chances for children to clap, dance, and get up close to the instruments. No tickets, no concert hall rules—just a warm, welcoming space to explore music and imagination together.

The free Opus Pocket Orchestra Concerts were made possible by the generous support of the Wright Family Foundation. THANK YOU!

We were delighted to perform in Tauranga as part of the Tauranga Arts Festival
