The Caretaker's Guide to the Orchestra

Opus Orchestra invites audiences of all ages into the colourful world of the orchestra with Jeremy Holland-Smith’s The Caretaker’s Guide to the Orchestra.

Written for narrator and orchestra, this witty and fast-moving work takes listeners on a journey through the different families of instruments, revealing how strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and more come together to create the thrilling sound of a full orchestra.

Led by conductor Adam Maha and narrated by Jeremy Hantler, this concert is a warm, playful and accessible introduction to orchestral music.
